WIRED FIRE RESISTANT GLASS PANES

Another category of VASGLASS fire resistant products are the fire-resistant wire-mesh glass panes.

An important role in the spread of a fire inside buildings is the breakage of glazing and their fall from the frames at the start of the fire.

To solve this problem, a wire mesh was incorporated into the mass of the pane, so that in the event of a fire the broken pieces can be held together and remain within their frame. The wire mesh is positioned at the center of the glass pane.

The fire-resistant glass pane has the following properties:

• Low ignition
• Low fire spread
• Minimal surface flame dispersion
• Minimum ignition radiation

All of the above properties contribute to the integrity of the fire-resistant wire-mesh glass pane, improve its resistance and therefore provide a "barrier" to the fire for up to 60 minutes.
