FIRE RESISTANT GLASS PANE

Modern building rules define fire protection and set minimum permissible limits for both newly built and existing structures. The commonly used architectural glass pane cannot meet such requirements, as it will break when surface temperatures exceed 40° C.

The laminated glass pane demonstrates a similar behavior in case of fire. Similarly, despite the fact that it clearly has higher resistance to different temperatures, compared to a heat-treated glass pane, it is not able to withstand fire temperatures reaching 1000°C.

The VASGLASS fire resistant glass pane meets all the necessary requirements to withstand temperatures reaching 1000˚ C, at varying intervals, allowing the building’s gradual evacuation in case of fire.

The available types are wire mesh glass panes, specially processed monolithic glass panes, and specially processed laminated glass panes.

The FIRE RESISTANCE collection of VASGLASS is certified (CE Marking) in accordance with European Regulation EN 13524, under the brand name VAS-PYRO.

VAS-PYRO products of fire protection glass are indelibly sealed, indicating their level of fire safety.

VAS-PYRO products are certified according to their intended use (doors, windows, etc.), supporting frame (iron, aluminum etc.), dimensions (maximum certified dimension) and application (indoors/outdoors).
